Directing a gym photoshoot
Wattbike is a high end indoor trainer bike, as part of my role as the Head of Design I often produce photo and video shoots on behalf of the marketing and sales teams.
The brief for this particular shoot was to capture the newly installed cycling zone at Rotherham 'Places for People' leisure centre, showing the bikes in a group environment. I was also asked to capture the bikes in a more standard gym setting.
Working closely with a chosen photographer I organised the day and directed the shots. We worked with two professional models and members of the public who were using the facilities.
This is a small selection of the hundreds of shots that were captured. I took the final images into Lightroom to create a style unique to Wattbike and have since used them across a wide range of items from brochures, and digital executions to exhibition stands and magazine adverts.
